Welcome to Coast Inn Bed & Breakfast! We're only 2 - 2 1/2 hours from PDX (Portland International Airport). Located in the historic Taft Heights district of Lincoln City, we are one block from Highway 101 at 4507 SW Coast Avenue. Siletz Bay is a short walk, as is public beach access. Lincoln City's 7 1/2 miles of pristine, level beach beckons you. Glass floats hidden on the beach my be your reward for a day spent beachcombing. Seals and whales abound in the ocean surf. We are open year-round.
Our 4000 square foot Craftsman-style home, built in 1939, was entirely remodeled in 2001, with comfortable new furnishings and artistic decor. Stunning art quilts provide color and pattern throughout the home. The innkeeper is from Alaska, her art reflects a life lived in the splendor of the outdoors. Special rates are available for booking the entire house for small conferences or retreats. Please request our catering sheet for additional meals. We can accommodate up to twelve people; another option is to house additional guests at a nearby bed and breakfast, sharing amenities and conference space. Join us in our Mission~style great room between 4 and 6 pm for smoked salmon, wine and cheese, lemonade and Fresh Lemon English Shortbread. Our smoke-free light, airy rooms are complete with luxury beds, private baths, down comforters and plush robes. The ocean surf will lull you to sleep. Relax in the wicker decor of the sunroom; board games are available. Browse through the great room's library, or enjoy a movie on the large screen television or music CD from the collection available for guests. Each guestroom has a journal for writing down your experiences on the coast. The library includes many books on creative writing and a selection of contemporary poetry. We offer a Wi-Fi Network as well.

Healthy gourmet hot breakfast, which may include Dungeness Crab Carmelized Onion Frittata, Oatmeal Hazelnut Waffles, Oregon Marionberry Scones or Orange Buttermilk Breakfast Biscuits, a fresh fruit platter, and fresh ground gourmet coffee, is served on the ocean view deck or in the dining room. Your senses are stimulated by the vibrant art quilts and hand~dyed vintage table linens. Private breakfast in your room is available, with one day's notice. Rosie Huntemann is the proprietor and her B&B is lovely and so warm. She makes the best breakfast and afternoon snacks. Rosie has a glass shop and so we were able to pick up some lovely glass items as Christmas gifts. The day we were in Lincoln City, the waves were the biggest and wildest I have ever seen on the Oregon Coast (and I have lived in OR for 32 years and been to the coast dozens of times)."
